Well, and Hawaii and quite a few other places, too, but I liked that title anyway.
Today we bought our Christmas Tree while drinking a chocolate shake instead of hot chocolate.
This is only possible in the sort of 1- or 2-season climate you find here in the San Francisco Bay Area (or in more tropical places, of course).
It amused us nonetheless :)

Cali Christmas traditions: go to the beach to see a surfing Santa, Christmas Sandcastles, and a frapa of anything really, just add ice into a blender with any chocolaty beverage.
One large frappa-choco-fruitcake-rum-cranberry-eggnog coming up!
Another Cali Christmas tradition: watering the grass.
